What is a steel bar shearing line? A steel bar shearing line, also known as a CNC automatic steel bar shearing line, is an automatic integrated equipment mainly used for cutting and sizing high-strength steel bars with diameters ranging from 12mm to 50mm to specific lengths.
It is not merely a traditional steel bar straightening and cutting machine, but rather a comprehensive production line integrating feeding, conveying, measuring, shearing and classified collection. Raw material preparation rack (feeding mechanism): It is used to store raw materials to be processed. It is generally equipped with a horizontal feeding device, which can conveniently lift the steel bars to the conveying roller.

The distance between the shearing wound and the positioning baffle is adjusted by controlling the ball screw through the servo motor, and it assists the photoelectric encoder in detection to ensure that each shearing is accurate without error.
Finished product collection organization (storage hopper): After shearing, the steel bars can be automatically flipped into the storage hopper. The top-of-the-line machine equipment is generally equipped with a three-level multi-bin storage device, which will automatically sort and stack the finished steel bars of various lengths or batch numbers, greatly facilitating subsequent packaging and deformation processing.
The working process of the automatic steel bar shearing line is as follows:
Main parameter input: The operator fills in the length, quantity and batch number of the steel bars to be cut on the touch screen display.
Automatic feeding: The machine equipment automatically picks up the reinforcing bars from the material preparation rack and feeds them into the conveyor track.
Rapid feeding and fixed-length measurement: The steel bars are conveyed forward rapidly. When the top of the steel bar head touches (or passes through) the fixed-length partition, the servo motor accurately measures the length. If multiple steel bars need to be sheared simultaneously, the widened material rack can accommodate multiple steel bars at once.
Clamping and shearing: The hydraulic press clamping device firmly holds the steel bars in place to prevent them from moving during shearing. Then, the hydraulic shears quickly cut the steel bars with a very large shearing force (such as 1200KN), and the entire process only takes a few seconds.
Sorting and discharging: The finished steel bars after cutting fall into the preset storage bins, waiting to be transported out by electric forklifts or trucks for the next production process (such as bending).
